Eddy County Search and Rescue
Mission Statement
The goal of Eddy County Search and Rescue is to reduce human suffering and to preserve human life by assisting the New Mexico State Police in locating and rescuing lost persons. As members of this team, we strive to maintain the skills required for the majority of search and rescue missions conducted throughout New Mexico and to perform our duties with competence, professionalism, and respect for lost subjects and their families.
Meetings
Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Permian Basin Regional Training Center, located at 1400 Commerce Drive in Carlsbad, NM. Meetings are open to anyone interested in Search and Rescue. We welcome new members every month.
We are always interested in meeting new volunteers who share our commitment to helping others through search and rescue.
